Have you ever been asked what you want? Do you have an answer for that question?
I do but I feel it is incredibly shallow.
I feel I should want world peace, a cure for cancer, possibly even an end to world hunger. But alas no.
I want to not have to sweep. I hate it.
In the new fandangeled houses with central Vac thay have a thingy in the kitchen that sucks up the dirt and debris. I get all tingly and happy just thinking about it.
But I must say after battling dirty dishes, the sock match wars (which by the way I gave up on years ago, now we are happy just to find 2), and the ever existent whine of “She’s sitting to close to me”, the thought of sweeping can bring me to tears.
So it may be shallow and it may be selfish but it is mine, and I am OK with it. If the floor crunches when you come to my house just know I have had a great battle and the war is not over.
